What data we collect

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the site is used, which pages people visit and how they move through the site. GA4 sets a cookie containing a pseudonymous identifier and processes your IP address (truncated by Google before storage). We don't use it for advertising or to identify individuals.

GA4 only runs after you accept analytics cookies via our consent banner. If you reject, or haven't yet chosen, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time by clicking Cookie preferences in the footer.

We also use browser localStorage to store two small preferences on your device: your Simple Mode toggle, and your cookie consent choice. Neither is sent to our servers.

We do not require user accounts on this website. No personal data is collected beyond what you voluntarily submit through the enquiry form or book order form.

Enquiry form data

If you submit an enquiry via our contact form, we collect your name, email address, school name, and your message. This information is sent directly to our team's email inbox. It is not stored in a database and is not shared with third parties.

We use your contact details only to respond to your enquiry. If you'd like us to delete your enquiry, contact us at hello@tailoreducation.org.uk.

Cookies and localStorage

Google Analytics 4, only fires after you accept via the consent banner. Once accepted, GA4 sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_<ID>) to distinguish unique browsers and sessions. These cookies are set by Google and are subject to Google's privacy policy. Before consent, the site runs in Google's Consent Mode v2, GA4 may send cookieless pings to Google, but no cookies are set on your device.

Cookie consent preference, stored in your browser's localStorage under the key tailor_consent as a JSON record of your choice (accepted or rejected), the timestamp, and a version number. This is not a cookie and does not leave your device.

Simple Mode preference, stored in your browser's localStorage under the key simple_mode. This is not a cookie and does not leave your device. You can clear either by clearing your browser data.
